HBO Now is a standalone streaming service that doesn’t require a cable package. It gives viewers access to all of HBO’s addictive series, the latest movies, docs, sports and more. Viewers can stream live episodes as they air on TV from their phone, TV, tablet or laptop.
HBO is consistently producing some of the latest must-see premium television shows of our time. Game of Thrones. Westworld. Big Little Lies. Sharp Objects. New episodes are released on Sunday nights, and in a world of DVRs and On Demand programming, they’re still considered “appointment” viewing.
Why? Because if you don’t watch it on Sunday night, you’ll hear about it Monday morning. Tweet storms happen during the shows, Reddit threads blow up immediately after and podcast recaps and dissections are recorded Monday morning.
Chatroom
The chatroom allows HBO NOW viewers to interact with different users who only have the HBO NOW account. Allowing the viewer to message other die hard fans directly through the app. During each episode, the chatroom will be streaming a live feed throughout the show so the user can chat in real time wherever they are viewing from. When the episode is over, viewers can still use the message feature to post about the episode if they rewatch it again.

HBO and Twitter is partnering up so now you can live tweet through the app. With the little twitter bird icon, just tap on that and a little part of the screen will come up. All you have to do is log in with your twitter account and now you’re able to scroll through other fans tweets, like, retweet, and post on your feed all through the Twitter extension on the HBO NOW app.
