Random chance is one way to design without your brain getting in the way of how the universe will direct you. Instead of thinking the project through on your own you will draw from a series of chance options to create the final piece. Chosen Word: Infect
Process: For this project, I wanted to make the word a scientific theme. The details in the word especially in the I and E having the information that makes them look like test tubes and the rest of the letters are either infected or not. I knew from the beginning that I wanted to make my word transparent and I wanted to rig it with light so the whole word would glow.
Materials used: Laser cut/etched acrylic plexiglass, laser cut wooden base, Green LED lights (lights can change colors with remote)
