Sarasota Scene Magazine Spreads
Founded in 1957, Sarasota Scene Magazine is Sarasota/Bradenton’s longest running and most widely distributed city publication, connecting the affluent and the aspirational socially sophisticated through engaging and inspiring editorial that is inviting and highly relevant. Sarasota Scene is an essential read for the prominent within our area, covering the diverse interests of an ever-changing community involved in arts and culture, philanthropy, health and wellness, education, events, design and beauty.
My role on this issue was to add the events to the three different calendars, play around with the layout/typography on the pages, research/add images that relate to the events that were taking place or that were in the same season as the issue. Note: This do not include the ads that were added later.

The List
The List is their generic events calendar. This calendar listed the events that were taking place in the Sarasota/Bradenton and surrounding areas. This layout spread to multiple pages along with the ads that were added to the spreads later on.
Best Seats
Best Seat is their performing arts calendar. This calendar listed the performing arts events that were taking place in the Sarasota/Bradenton and surrounding areas through Orchestra, Theater, Opera, etc . This layout spreads out through two pages along with the ads that were added to the spreads later on.
Art Scene
Art Scene is their visual arts events calendar. This calendar listed the events that were taking place in the Sarasota/Bradenton and surrounding areas through gallery and special exhibitions. This layout spread is one page along with the ads that were added to the spreads later on.
